Hey! I’m Issy, the Head Nurse here at Kingston Vets! I started my journey in the veterinary world back in 2019, with time spent in Emergency and even some time spent working in the UK. With veterinary medicine constantly evolving, I really enjoy learning new techniques and approaches so we can keep improving the care we provide.

In clinic, I absolutely love spending time with our patients, making sure they feel comfortable, safe and cared for during their stay… and yes, sneaking in as many cuddles as I can. The most rewarding part of my role is watching our sick patients recover and finally head home to their families.

At home, I have Wallace, my very spoiled Cavoodle who is convinced he’s starving at all times.

He loves snoozing under the covers and barking at any horse that dares to appear on the TV..

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me curled up with a good book, hosting dinner parties with friends or enjoying a peaceful weekend by the river. I’ve always had a huge heart for animals, and one of my biggest dreams is to open a sanctuary for rescued farm animals one day. It’s a big goal but one I’m really passionate about!
